Great trip to the volcano Thanks to Juan Carlos for his very knowledgeable trip to the volcano. He provided so much helpful information and gave us plenty of time to make the climb. Best Tour Experience We took the hanging bridges and volcano hike tours in one day! Juan Carlos was a wonderful tour guide and he took time to explain everything completely on the tour. Hanging bridges and arenal volcano tour Fantastic tour with Juan Carlos. Undoubtedly the best guide I have ever had anywhere. He kept my 10 and 17 year old enthralled for several hours as we hiked through the rain forest, and that's saying a lot! Can't recommend this tour or him too highly. His knowledge of the forest was amazing, his interaction with the kids was great and maybe one day if we are lucky we can do it all again. Thanks Juan Carlos!

Great Guide, Great Day! Juan Carlos did an excellent job on our nature hike of Arenal Volcano. He was extremely knowledgeable about the geology of the volcano, the ramifications of the eruptions on the community, the fauna and the flora. He was enthusiastic and concerned that he provided us with what we wanted out of the tour. Our secoind stop was at the Eco Termales hot springs. We chose to have dinner before soaking. The dinner was excellent. The early dinner seating was almost empty and the hot springs were not at all crowded when we settled in for a long soak.

Family hike near the Arsenal volcano- thanks Joshua! Nature hike with guide. Easy and beautiful, great views and photos. There were many other groups on the trail, which could be a downside. But for our family for 10 with ranging abilities, and a very adventurous morning, it was nice to have this easy hike. We learned so much about the ecosystem and all of the animals, especially birds, that we saw. It was clear from observing the other groups, hiking with guides from various other guide companies, that Joshua stuck out as one of the best. (I did see a Wave tours guide from our earlier adventure, that’s another option, he was the only other guide that seemed to hold a candle to Josh). Joshua was so friendly, answered all of our questions, helped us understand the ecology, taught us about Costa Rica, and clearly loves what he does. Such a delight.

Great Tour Santos really know his stuff and the driver was also fantastic. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Hanging Bridges morning tour Santos and Michael were our personal guides this morning as we hiked in the Arenal Hanging Bridges Park. Just the two of us and the two of them plus our driver Alexander. Which we loved! We learned quite a lot about the "tropical wet forest" and its native vegetation and wildlife and the local culture etc. It was great to be in our own small group, taking our time exploring, asking questions and just being in the middle of a lush abundance of nature! The hanging Bridges were fun too. A bit disappointed in not seeing toucans or monkeys, but time of day may have played a part as well as crowds of people in other groups. They provided a fresh pineapple snack for us and a comfortable new van right from our hotel. Would highly recommend them and this tour company!

Awesome Arenal Outings I arrived at my hotel with nothing planned for my time in Arenal and ended up booking my excursion thru the front desk. It was an all day outing with 4 activities and meals included - the mistico hanging bridges, la fortuna waterfalls, lunch at my hotel lomas del volcan, a hike at el silencio, and then a few hours at tabacon hot springs with their buffet dinner. as a solo traveler with no rental car, it was worth the ~$200 USD to be driven around and guided on the activities rather than trying to coordinate transportation and figure out the itinerary for myself. Our guide was Michael and our driver was Santos and both were super friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this to anybody else traveling to the area!

Caminata al volcán Arenal Fuimos mi esposa, mi hijo de 3 años y yo al sendero de 1968 en una buseta bien acondicionada y espaciosa conducida por Leo. Iniciamos el recorrido con nuestro guía Edson quien nos mostró desde monos aulladores hasta plantaciones de caña y café. Muy profesional, amable y con mucho conocimiento. Fue una caminata de dificultad ligera a media de aproximadamente 2 horas pasando por puntos dónde se vió el volcán, la lava del 68 y el lago del arenal, unas vistas preciosas! Al final del camino, nos recibió con una deliciosa piña fresca y regresamos La Fortuna. Genial la experiencia y se la recomiendo a todos! Muchas gracias Leo y Edson! #Trekcr.
